Schalke 04 holds Bayern Munich to 0-0 draw in Bundesliga

Schalke 04 secured a surprising 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich in their first Bundesliga home game in several years. The result ended Bayern Munich’s 59-match scoring streak and moved them from the top of the Bundesliga table for the first time in nearly two years.

Schalke goalkeeper Loris Karius was named man of the match after making numerous critical saves, including a late attempt by Harry Kane. Bayern manager Vincent Kompany noted the team's inability to convert dominance into goals, despite controlling much of the possession.

The match also featured a tense atmosphere as Manuel Neuer returned to Schalke, facing significant whistling from the home crowd. Following the draw, Augsburg has moved to the top of the Bundesliga standings.
