Scheduled power outages reported in Bhilwara and Jaipur

Multiple areas in Bhilwara and Jaipur are facing scheduled electricity shutdowns due to maintenance work on power lines and grid substations.

In Bhilwara, outages on October 25 are expected to last between two and five hours. Specific shutdowns include the 11 kV UDIA feeder from 8 AM to 10 AM, affecting areas such as Swastik Process, SB Silk, and the RTO Office. The 11 kV First Phase feeder will see interruptions from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, impacting localities like Sanwariya and SBI Bank. Additionally, several residential and institutional zones, including the Collectorate, Sessions Court, and the railway station, will experience shutdowns from 8 AM to 1 PM.

In Jaipur, more than 60 localities faced power cuts on October 23 due to maintenance at the 33/11 kV GSS at Hirapura and other substations. Outages lasted between four and five hours, with some areas like Jaisinghpura Khor losing power until 3 PM. Residents were advised to complete essential tasks and charge electronic devices in advance of the maintenance work.
