Multiple fire emergencies reported across Austria, Germany, and Switzerland

Multiple fire incidents have been reported across Austria and Germany. In Krems, Austria, five fire departments responded to a truck fire in a forest; firefighters successfully prevented the blaze from spreading to the surrounding woods after approximately 300 square meters of forest area were affected.

In Zettenreith, Austria, a vegetation fire on a wooded slope was discovered by a passing firefighter, allowing emergency services to contain the blaze with the help of local farmers. Another major fire occurred in Lenzing, Austria, where 60 firefighters battled flames in a commercial building for several hours.

In Germany, an electric vehicle fire in a carport in Ludwigsau-Ersrode escalated into a full residential house fire. The incident presented significant challenges for emergency responders due to the presence of a photovoltaic system and energy storage units. In Gossau, Switzerland, an electric car fire in an underground garage led to the evacuation of approximately 50 people from a building.
