Schiaparelli unveils Spring/Summer 2027 collection in Paris

Creative director Daniel Roseberry presented the Schiaparelli Spring/Summer 2027 collection at the Carrousel du Louvre during Paris Fashion Week. The show, themed ‘Going Clear’, moved away from pure surrealist spectacle toward a more wearable, streamlined aesthetic that emphasizes silhouette and precision.

Key elements of the collection included sculpted black dresses, cocktail frocks with aerodynamic lines, and a focus on the ‘Schiap jacket’. Roseberry utilized a styling formula reminiscent of founder Elsa Schiaparelli, pairing opulent, highly detailed jackets with simple, understated bottoms like black trousers. The collection maintained the house’s signature anatomical and surrealist details—such as trompe l’oeil effects and gold-foiled accents—but integrated them into more functional eveningwear and ready-to-wear pieces.

The presentation featured a 1930s cabaret-inspired atmosphere, set to a recording of Barbra Streisand. Despite the brand's relatively small scale, with only ten global points of sale, the house has seen significant growth, rising from approximately $6 million in 2020 to $100 million today.
