Schlüchtern hosts anniversary event and vocational family festival

Schlüchtern is hosting two major community events in September 2026. Bien-Zenker will celebrate its 120th anniversary with a ‘Hausbau & Fest’ event at its company location on September 6, highlighting its history of innovation in construction.

Additionally, the city will host an experience and family festival at the former Vogt-Areal on September 20. Organized in collaboration with the Kreishandwerkerschaft Gelnhausen-Schlüchtern, the event aims to promote vocational orientation. It will feature information on approximately 135 apprenticeships and hands-on activities, such as operating construction machinery and floor heating installation, to inspire young people to consider careers in craftsmanship.
