Schlüchtern hosts family festival to promote vocational training

More than 600 guests attended an experience and family festival held at the former Vogt area in Schlüchtern, Germany. The event celebrated World Children's Day and the Day of Trades.

Organized by the city of Schlüchtern in cooperation with the Gelnhausen-Schlüchtern District Crafts Association, the Wiesbaden Chamber of Crafts, and the ProjectCity integrated urban development management, the festival focused on vocational training. Attendees were provided with information regarding approximately 135 different apprenticeship opportunities.

The program featured over 20 interactive stations where participants could try various tasks, such as operating excavators, planing, or installing underfloor heating. In addition to hands-on activities, the event included short presentations, a talk round, and opportunities for direct exchange with apprentices. Information was also provided on language courses, further training, and the planned QU Azubiquartier in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis.
