Schleiz animal shelter to host annual dog-themed festival

The Schleiz animal shelter is hosting its fourth annual animal shelter festival, focusing on the bond between humans and dogs. The event, which is free to the public, features demonstrations by a dog training group and a specialized course for owners and their pets to complete together.

In addition to animal activities, the festival includes a flea market, handmade goods, and various food offerings such as langosch and crepes. Information booths will be available to provide guidance on topics including international animal protection, grooming, and the proper use of muzzles.
