Schleswig-Holstein resident wins 39.5 million euro Eurojackpot

A lottery player in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, won approximately 39.5 million euros in the Eurojackpot drawing held on Tuesday, August 25. The winner played via the internet with an eight-euro stake, correctly predicting the numbers 4, 5, 7, 48, and 50, along with Euro numbers 4 and 5.

Other significant prizes from the same drawing included a second-tier win of approximately 1.4 million euros in Hungary, and third-tier prizes of roughly 157,000 euros distributed among winners in Bavaria, Schleswig-Holstein, Estonia, and Norway. This marks the second time the jackpot has been hit in Schleswig-Holstein, following a 120 million euro win in June 2023.
