Schloss Fasanerie and Wolfersdorf host open-air summer cinema events

On July 24, the orchard of Schloss Fasanerie in Eichenzell, Hessen, opened its historic baroque grounds for an outdoor screening of "Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale." The event was introduced by Dr Markus Miller and supported by Kultur Sommer Main‑Kinzig‑Fulda, the Hessian Ministry of Science, Research, Art and Culture and the Sparkassen‑Kulturstiftung Hessen‑Thüringen. A fireworks display from a local Schützenfest added to the evening’s festivities.

A week later, on August 8, the Waldbad "Herzog Ernst" in Wolfersdorf hosted a second open‑air film night, showing the German romantic comedy "Einfach mal was Schönes" (2022), directed by Karoline Herfurth. The screening was organized by the Förderverein Waldbad Herzog Ernst Wolfersdorf.
