Schmitz Cargobull adds TRAVIS washing and parking services to TrailerConnect platform

Schmitz Cargobull has expanded its TrailerConnect telematics platform with a new partnership with digital service provider TRAVIS. The integration adds trailer washing and parking services that fleet operators can locate, plan and book directly within the TrailerConnect portal.

Dispatchers see a map‑based view of trailer positions alongside available wash bays and parking sites across Europe, with details on interior/exterior cleaning options, security monitoring and payment handled via the TRAVIS app. The feature supports strict hygiene standards such as GDP and HACCP, allowing documented cleaning stops to be scheduled as part of a transport route and providing auditable cleaning certificates in one place.
