Schönbrunn Palace to host early Christmas markets in Vienna

The Christmas season is approaching in Central Europe, with some festivities beginning earlier than the traditional late November or early December window.

In Vienna, the Christmas markets at Schönbrunn Palace are set to open on November 6 and will run until January 6, 2027. The event features 90 stalls offering various activities and seasonal treats. Entry to the palace grounds is free, with stalls operating from 10:00 to 21:00 daily, except for Christmas Eve, when they close at 16:00, and subsequent days when they close at 19:00.
