Schneider Electric announces industrial reorganization in France

Schneider Electric is implementing an industrial reorganization in France to improve competitiveness. The plan includes the closure of a factory in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, Vienne, scheduled for March 2028. This closure will affect 145 employees and will be accompanied by a job protection plan, offering opportunities for relocation to other group sites within France or professional retraining.

Additionally, the company intends to consolidate its operations in Normandy by merging production and research and development activities from Beaumont-le-Roger, Le Vaudreuil, and Pacy-sur-Eure into a single site in Évreux. This consolidation involves an investment of 150 million euros to establish a 40,000 square meter facility.
