Schneider Electric expands decarbonisation program for SMEs

Schneider Electric has expanded its Decarbonisation Champion Program (DCP) through a new partnership with Greenly, a global carbon accounting and management platform. The initiative is designed to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the electrical value chain in measuring, managing, and reducing their carbon emissions.

The program combines Greenly’s carbon accounting technology with Schneider Electric Advisory Services to provide a structured decarbonisation roadmap. Participating partners receive access to sustainability training via the Schneider Electric Sustainability and Energy Tech School, tools to track Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and consultancy services including remote audits and strategy workshops.

Early pilot deployments in the Pacific region indicate significant financial benefits. For example, one manufacturer in Queensland identified over 178,000 USD in potential savings through operational improvements.
