Schneider Electric inaugurates industrial campus in Querétaro

Schneider Electric Querétaro electrical distribution industrial investment manufacturing expansion

Schneider Electric has inaugurated its new industrial campus in the Colón municipality of Querétaro, Mexico, representing an investment of over 3,600 million pesos (approximately 192 million USD). The complex, located in the Aeropuerto Industrial Park, spans roughly 115,000 square meters across three plants, two of which are already operational.

The facility focuses on manufacturing electrical distribution solutions and technologies for critical energy infrastructure, industrial sectors, and data centers. This expansion aims to meet rising demand for electrification, automation, and digitization across North America, specifically serving markets in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

The project is expected to create 4,000 direct jobs and approximately 10,000 indirect jobs by the end of 2027. Querétaro Governor Mauricio Kuri González attended the ceremony, noting that the investment strengthens the regional supply chain and reinforces the state’s position as a strategic hub for the digital economy.
