Schneider Electric, NVIDIA, and HPE partner on industrial AI

Schneider Electric, NVIDIA, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) have announced a collaboration to develop Industrial AI Agents at the Edge. This initiative aims to bring artificial intelligence capabilities directly to industrial operations to support operational monitoring, cybersecurity, and energy optimization.

The partnership combines HPE Private Cloud AI, developed with NVIDIA, with Schneider Electric’s operational technology expertise. By processing data at the edge rather than in the cloud, the solution addresses critical barriers to industrial AI adoption, including data sovereignty, cybersecurity risks, and high cloud-related costs.

The first three specialized AI agents will focus on monitoring operational technology systems, identifying cybersecurity threats, and finding opportunities to improve energy efficiency. The technology builds on existing deployments, such as at CMPC Chile, to help industrial customers turn operational data into actionable intelligence.
