Schnellecke Logistics to rescue Wandt Spedition from insolvency

Wandt Spedition Transportberatung GmbH, a traditional logistics company based in Braunschweig, is set to emerge from insolvency following an 18-month restructuring process. Creditors have unanimously approved an insolvency plan to end the proceedings, pending the fulfillment of remaining conditions.

Schnellecke Logistics SE, based in Wolfsburg, will secure the company’s future and its approximately 110 jobs through a strategic majority stake. Both companies were founded in 1939, combining over 85 years of industry tradition. The partnership aims to leverage Wandt’s regional expertise in transport and customs with Schnellecke Logistics’ global network and integrated solutions to drive long-term growth.
