Schoenstatt Movement Celebrates Historical Milestones

The Schoenstatt Movement is marking several significant historical anniversaries. In the Diocese of Uberlândia, Brazil, a celebration was held to commemorate 32 years of the Pilgrim Mother Campaign, alongside the 112th anniversary of the Covenant of Love and the 100th anniversary of the Secular Institute of the Sisters of Mary of Schoenstatt.

Additionally, October 22 marks a historical milestone regarding the rehabilitation of Father José Kentenich by Church authorities following his exile. The movement reflects on Kentenich’s life, noting his survival of the Dachau concentration camp under the Nazi regime and his subsequent challenges within the Church hierarchy. Pope Francis has previously commented on the prophetic nature of Kentenich’s experiences with rejection.
