Schoenstatt Movement in Brazil Holds Vocational Month Events and Missionary Training

In August 2026 the Catholic Church in Brazil observes the Month of Vocations, a period of prayer, reflection and commitment to God’s call. The Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement highlights the theme “Communities Vocational: Encounter, Testimony and Mission” and dedicates each Sunday to a specific vocation – priesthood, marriage, consecrated life and lay vocation – encouraging the faithful to recognize and nurture their callings.

More than 100 missionaries from the Mother Peregrina Campaign gathered in Ibiúna, São Paulo for a formation meeting titled “The missionary and the spirituality of Schoenstatt.” The program reviewed the founder Father José Kentenich’s life, the meaning of the titles Mother, Queen and Victorious Three Times Admirable, the Aliança de Amor, and the movement’s motto “Nothing without you, nothing without us.” Participants also studied the Capital of Grace and practical ways to bring the Mother Peregrina into families, drawing inspiration from the Venerable João Luiz Pozzobon.
