Scholarship awards presented in Cosenza and Terni

Several memorial scholarship ceremonies were held in Italy to honor deceased professionals by supporting young students.

In Cosenza, the Rotary Club Cosenza Nord held the third edition of the Marianna Frugiuele Degree Award at the Hotel Europa. The award, established by the family of the late professional, recognizes young engineers from the University of Calabria. This year, Umile Magarò and Pierfrancesco Staffa were honored. The event also featured a lecture by Professor Giusy Ambrogio on the technical and ethical dimensions of sustainability.

In Terni, the third edition of the Fabrizio Mearelli scholarship was awarded to two students from the Renato Donatelli Scientific High School, Francesca Maria Sebastiani and Francesco Clementini. Organized by Confindustria Umbria and Confindustria Umbria Servizi, the initiative provides a plaque and 500 euros to each winner to support their educational paths and honor the memory of the late professional.
