School catering services resume in Terlizzi and Trani

School catering services for the 2026/2027 academic year are commencing in the municipalities of Terlizzi and Trani.

In Terlizzi, the service is scheduled to begin on October 5, 2026, covering nursery schools and full-time primary school classes. The municipality has introduced a new three-year contract with EP S.p.A., a company based in Trani, to manage meal preparation and distribution. Currently, 665 students are enrolled through the new Schoolweb digital platform, designed to streamline the registration process.

In Trani, the service begins on October 1, 2026, with 960 students already registered. For the first time, the program will extend to full-time lower secondary schools. The service aims to prioritize food safety and nutritional guidelines using fresh, seasonal products. New dedicated dining spaces have been prepared at the Beltrani primary school and the Bovio secondary school to accommodate the service.
