School Complex nr 5 modernizes sports field with artificial turf

The sports field at the Stefan Kisielewski School Complex (Zespół Szkół nr 5) on Szczawnicka Street is undergoing a major modernization. The project involves replacing the old concrete surface with modern artificial turf to improve safety, aesthetics, and functionality for young athletes.

The total cost of the investment is approximately 900,000 PLN. A significant portion of the funding, amounting to 300,000 PLN, is provided by the ‘Mazowsze dla sportu’ program, managed by the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-government.

In addition to reducing the risk of injury compared to hard surfaces, the new artificial turf is expected to be easier to maintain, lowering long-term costs. The renovated facility is intended to serve as a hub for physical activity, encouraging local youth to engage in sports and potentially hosting larger sporting events for the community.
