School van destroyed by fire in Apucarana, Paraná

A school van carrying approximately 15 students and a driver was completely destroyed by fire in Apucarana, Paraná. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning while the vehicle was in motion. The driver noticed sparks and a smell of smoke, prompting her to stop the vehicle at a gas station in the Jardim Apucarana neighborhood.

All students and the driver managed to exit the vehicle safely before the flames spread. Firefighters reported that the intensity of the fire made it difficult to approach the vehicle, which suffered total loss. Preliminary investigations suggest an electrical problem in the engine area may have caused the blaze.
