School violence and bullying incidents reported in Argentina and Bolivia

Two separate incidents of school-related violence have been reported in Argentina and Bolivia.

In Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina, a family filed a formal police report against the authorities and staff of Escuela N.º 1 «Nicolás Avellaneda». The parents of a 7-year-old boy allege he has suffered repeated physical and verbal aggression from classmates, including being followed to bathrooms where he was allegedly pushed and insulted. The family reported that the child exhibited significant behavioral changes and fear, and they sought legal action after feeling the school failed to provide concrete solutions to the harassment.

In Santa Cruz, Bolivia, a father is under investigation after allegedly physically attacking a student. The man reportedly confronted the minor whom he identified as the person responsible for continuous bullying against his child. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine if the assault constitutes a crime and to verify the history of bullying reported by the father.
