ScHoolboy Q asks fans to stop asking about Mac Miller

Rapper ScHoolboy Q has expressed frustration with fans and the public regarding repeated questions about his late friend and collaborator, Mac Miller. During a recent concert, the TDE artist confronted a fan who brought up Miller, asking the audience to record his response to ensure the message was heard.

ScHoolboy Q stated, “I wish people would stop asking me about my dead friend,” adding that the constant reminders are exhausting and that people often approach him as if discussing the death is an enjoyable experience. He noted, “That sh*t gets old.”

Mac Miller passed away in September 2018 at the age of 26 due to an accidental overdose. The two artists shared a close bond and collaborated on several tracks. ScHoolboy Q has previously discussed the difficulty of his grief, noting that he once postponed an album release because he was not emotionally prepared to promote music while mourning the loss.
