Schools in France prepare for September 2026 academic start

Educational institutions in France are preparing for the 2026 school year start. At Lunery School, students will return on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The school administration, led by Director Madame Desmolles and Monsieur Hugot, has provided specific supply lists for kindergarten and primary students. The municipality is assisting families by financing school supplies.

At Lycée Napoléon in L’Aigle, Orne, the return to classes will be staggered over two days. New students, including those in second year (seconde) and first-year CAP or BTS programs, will begin on Tuesday, September 1. Returning students in first and final years (première and terminale) will start on Wednesday, September 2. Family information meetings are scheduled for September 11 and September 18.
