Schools in Germany and Austria begin new academic year

Educational institutions in Germany and Austria are beginning the 2026/2027 academic year with various updates and schedules.

In Mühlacker, Germany, the Berufliche Schule Mühlacker is set to welcome students starting September 14. The schedule includes various vocational tracks, such as foreign languages, commercial colleges, and dual vocational training preparation. Specialized technical programs for industrial and metalworking sectors will also commence throughout the first week of September.

In Gmünd, Austria, higher education institutions are implementing several changes. The Gymnasium is investing in new rooms, digital equipment, and the expansion of the ‘Simply Strong’ project, which involves older students leading physical activities for younger ones.
