Schools in Switzerland resume after summer holidays

Schools in Switzerland have resumed following the summer holidays. In the Canton of Lucerne, approximately 45,200 students have returned to public schools, alongside 6,400 gymnasium students and 4,900 vocational school learners.

In Therwil, the primary school welcomed several new staff members, including teachers for kindergarten, music, and movement, as well as civil service workers and interns.

Various municipalities, including Reiden, Menznau, and Ettiswil, reported active starts to the academic year. Students participated in welcome activities, such as name games and storytelling, to mark the beginning of the new term.
