Schools in Therwil and Sylt host orientation events for new students

Educational institutions in Therwil, Switzerland, and Sylt, Germany, are organizing orientation events to prepare children and parents for the upcoming 2027 school year.

In Therwil, the Primarstufe Therwil will host an information evening for parents of children born between August 1, 2022, and July 31, 2023, on November 18, 2026. This session will cover daily routines, pedagogical focuses, and organizational procedures. Additionally, a mandatory enrollment afternoon is scheduled for November 25, 2026, at the Aula Wilmatt, where children can participate in activities while parents complete registration.

On the island of Sylt, three primary schools are holding open house days and information sessions. St. Nicolai School in Westerland will host an open day on November 5. The Boy-Lornsen-Schule in Tinnum offers an open house on October 29 and an information evening on November 5. The Norddörferschule in Wenningstedt-Braderup will be open from November 2 to November 4, with a dedicated information event on the evening of November 4.
