Schools in Velletri and surrounding areas begin 2026/2027 academic year

Schools in the Velletri and Castelli Romani regions are preparing for the 2026/2027 academic year, with start dates varying by institution. At the Istituto Professionale Alberghiero ‘Ugo Tognazzi’, classes will begin on September 10, featuring specific welcome sessions for first-year students. Additionally, a new state high school is set to be inaugurated in Lariano on September 12, with lessons commencing on September 14.

To support the transition, ASL Roma 4 has issued guidance for families to manage the return to school. The health authority noted that students may experience anxiety, irritability, or sleep disturbances during this period. Recommendations include gradually re-establishing sleep and meal routines, listening to students' concerns without judgment, and avoiding excessive pressure to ensure a smooth adjustment to academic life.
