Several educational institutions named after the Serbian language reformer Vuk Stefanović Karadžić held celebrations to honor his legacy and their own milestones.
In Loznica, five schools, including the Vuk Karadžić Gymnasium and the Music School, organized a joint ceremonial academy for the fifth consecutive year. During the event, officials emphasized the importance of language, education, and culture, noting the responsibility these institutions hold in nurturing critical consciousness in future generations.
In Roćević, the Vuk Karadžić Primary School celebrated its 60th anniversary with a cultural and artistic program. The event featured performances by students and the “Sveti Sava” Folklore Society, alongside a photographic exhibition titled “Generations that grew up with our school.” Zvornik Mayor Bojan Ivanović attended the ceremony, marking the school's long-standing role in the local community and its mission of education and upbringing.
