Schools in Mandres-la-Côte and Mirande have officially reopened for the 2026-2027 academic year.

In Mandres-la-Côte, 72 students returned to classes distributed across four groups. The school staff includes several teachers and four specialized assistants for students with disabilities. Mayor Isabelle Lardin visited the site to meet with students and faculty, wishing the community success for the upcoming year. Academic services are scheduled to evaluate the school next week.

In Mirande, the return of students to nursery and elementary schools was marked by an increase in enrollment. Local officials, including Mayor Bernard Dorey and Deputy Mayor Jean-François Darroux, visited the schools to meet with directors Delphine Ciadoux and Sophie Peyrie. Discussions during these visits included plans for school improvements, such as creating shaded areas in the courtyard to improve student well-being during hot weather.
