Schooner Fall Classic women's golf tournament begins in Oklahoma

The Schooner Fall Classic women's golf tournament is taking place at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma. The event features a 16-team field including programs such as Kansas State, Houston, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Georgia.

Kansas State enters the tournament following the Annika Intercollegiate, with Nanami Nakashima having led the team in their previous event. The tournament also provides an opportunity for participants to visit the OK Kids Korral, part of the Toby Keith Foundation, which supports families affected by childhood cancer.

The University of Houston is competing under new head coach Rachel Pollock. The tournament schedule includes daily 18-hole rounds, with the final round set for Monday.
