Schueberfouer funfair opens for 684th edition in Luxembourg

The 684th edition of the Schueberfouer, the largest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, is set to open at the Glacis field. Running from Friday, August 21, to Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the event will feature over 30 rides and 214 fairground establishments.

Key scheduled highlights include an official inauguration on Friday evening, the 21st Mayors' Day on August 25, and a family day with reduced rates on August 26. Other events include the 'Queens' Day' on August 27 and a large fireworks display to conclude the fair on September 9.

Preparations are currently underway with international vendors arriving to set up attractions. Local and international fairground workers are finalizing stands and rides to ensure everything is ready for the official launch.
