Schwabenakademie Irsee to host discussion on the digital euro

The Schwabenakademie Irsee is hosting its second ‘Akademie im Dialog’ event on September 5 at Kloster Irsee. This new public format aims to bridge the academy’s traditional private seminars with the local community through free, open discussions.

Behavioral economist and financial expert Prof. Dr. Hartmut Walz will deliver an impulse lecture titled ‘Why we will all benefit from the digital euro’. The discussion will focus on the complexities surrounding the digital euro and the potential consequences for European money and payment infrastructure should the continent hesitate in its implementation.
