Schwandorf district receives EU LEADER funding for inclusion and tourism

The Schwandorf district in Germany is implementing three major projects aimed at enhancing social inclusion and regional tourism through funding from the European Union’s LEADER program.

In Teublitz, an inclusive playground is being developed near a multi-generational house. The project, which includes accessible parking and a soccer court, has total costs of approximately €71,000, with €35,881.63 provided by LEADER.

Additionally, the city of Schwandorf is constructing an inclusive playground in the Dachelhofen district near the indoor swimming pool. This project aims to create a cross-generational meeting point for diverse population groups, with total project costs reaching approximately €706,000.
