Schwandorf region to host child health and parenting lecture series

Various educational lecture series focusing on child health, safety, and parenting will be held in the Schwandorf district and Neustadt starting in October 2026.

In Neustadt, the Coordinating Child Protection Office (KoKi) and the WEN-NEW health department are organizing a series titled ‘Child Health.’ The program focuses on accident prevention and first aid for children. It includes online lectures on toddler accident prevention and theoretical first aid sessions, as well as practical workshops held at the health department.

Additionally, the Local Alliance for Family in the Schwandorf district is hosting the 22nd installment of the ‘Strong through Education’ series. This program offers six events covering topics such as effective parenting methods, media competence, and resilience. The sessions are designed for parents, educators, and childcare professionals, with some presentations held both in person and online.
