Schwarz Gruppe hosts Future Day to advance sustainable logistics

The Schwarz Gruppe hosted its second Future Day at the Kaufland logistics center in Geisenfeld, focusing on the theme ‘Sustainable Logistics: Shaping the Future through Partnerships’. The event brought together over 650 industry decision-makers to discuss innovative logistics solutions and strategic cooperation.

Participants gained insights into highly automated processes, including Kaufland’s fully automated food picking system. The event highlighted the integrated ecosystem of the Schwarz Gruppe, which includes retail brands Lidl and Kaufland, Schwarz Produktion, the circular economy firm PreZero, and the digitalization unit Schwarz Digits. Discussions centered on leveraging technology, infrastructure, and partnerships to address complex global supply chain challenges and enhance sustainability.
