Schweinfurt and Alzey‑Schafhausen hold July 2026 community festivals

The Bürgerverein Gartenstadt in Schweinfurt will host its traditional Kirchweih Gardenstadt from 18 to 20 July 2026. The three‑day programme features live music by the classic‑rock band Zero, a traditional Weißwurst‑frühstück, a large parade through the Gartenstadt neighbourhood, performances by the Dürrfelder Trachtenkapelle, and evening concerts by Blackhouse 3 and the A.R. Group.

From 24 to 27 July 2026 the Alzeyer district of Schafhausen will hold its annual Kerb on the village square. Organized by the Verein für Brauchtumspflege under chair Mareen Deichmann, the event includes a classic “Reitschul” carousel, DJ Illinois, a special Kerb‑gottesdienst with the baptism of two local children, and food stalls offering regional specialties. Evening entertainment features the formation “Pineapple Jukebox” and other musical acts.
