Schweinfurt regional bus schedules change due to road closures

New construction schedules are being implemented for regional bus lines in the Schweinfurt district due to the full closure of the St 2280 state road between Schweinfurt and Madenhausen. The closure, managed by the State Construction Office, is expected to last until November 6, 2026, and will involve four distinct construction phases.

Regional bus lines 210 (Schweinfurt – Bad Königshofen) and 213 (Schweinfurt – Maßbach) will operate under modified schedules. To ensure students arrive at school on time despite detours, school bus departure times have been adjusted and, in some cases, moved significantly earlier. Additionally, the village of Thomashof will not be served starting September 12, with passengers redirected to Hoppachshof.

The service ‘callheinz auf Linie’ between Ebertshausen and Schweinfurt Deutschfeld Friedhof will also be paused from September 12 until approximately October 9 due to the inability to guarantee punctual arrivals during the detours.
