Schwerte religious services announced for school enrollment

The Catholic parish of St. Marien in Schwerte is organizing several ecumenical church services to mark the beginning of the school year and the transition to secondary education. These services, scheduled for early September 2026, will take place at various locations including the Viktor Church, Johanneshaus, and St. Thomas Morus Family Church. Additionally, specific services are planned for students from the Ergste and Westhofen primary schools.

In conjunction with the start of school, resources are also available for families looking for appropriate messages and greetings for cards or digital messages to celebrate children entering their first grade. These include various poems and well-wishes intended to encourage curiosity and joy during this new life chapter.
