Schwerte station: 65-year-old man detained for alleged sexual harassment
The German Federal Police have taken a 65-year-old man into custody following allegations of sexual harassment at the Schwerte railway station. The incident occurred on a Wednesday afternoon in a regional express train.
According to reports, the suspect, a homeless man, had been playing the trumpet before moving through the train to ask passengers for money. Two women, aged 21 and 23, reported being inappropriately touched. Specifically, the 23-year-old stated the man touched her inner thigh while she was asleep.
Investigations revealed that the man was already under a ban from Deutsche Bahn, prohibiting him from using their trains and facilities.
