SchwörerHaus and AMD München win New Living Award for tiny‑living designs

SchwörerHaus and the Akademie Mode & Design (AMD) in Munich have launched a joint Tiny House Design Study focused on compact, modern living. The collaboration, part of the inaugural “New Living Award by zuhause wohnen,” tasks interior‑design students with creating concepts for three FlyingSpaces in the Tiny Wohnpark Heidelberg.

The Tiny Wohnpark Heidelberg, initiated by investors Achim Pätzold and Fabian Müller, will receive about 40 wooden modules supplied and assembled by SchwörerHaus. The award’s jury includes professors from AMD, SchwörerHaus executives Johannes Schwörer and Christiane Fürber, investor representative Sabina Hofmann‑Pätzold, and Chefrediteur Christian J. Goldsmith. The study targets three user groups – best agers, young adults/digital natives, and business travellers – and the first design presentations were held at AMD Munich.

The winning concepts are slated for implementation in the Heidelberg project, linking academic research with real‑world construction and sustainable building practices.
