Sciacca installs artistic signs to celebrate local culture

The Rotaract Club of Sciacca has completed a project to install three artistic signs throughout the city to promote urban decor and celebrate local identity. The initiative, funded and led during the presidency of Alessandra Barrile, features works by three local artists.

Ferdinando Di Matteo created an installation dedicated to the Madonna del Soccorso, located on the descent of Campidoglio. Felix Alba contributed a piece honoring the poet Vincenzo Licata, placed in Piazza Scandaliato. The third work, by Maria Rosa Siracusa, interprets the city’s characteristic coral and is positioned at the Terme square.
