SCIC announces divestment plan for 66 enterprises through 2030

The State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) has finalized a list of 66 enterprises for divestment during the 2026-2030 period. The plan covers various sectors, including steel, textiles, energy, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.

However, the divestment process faces significant challenges. Approximately 88% of the listed companies—including names such as Domesco, Seaprodex, Licogi, and Thieu Phong Plastic—are carryovers from previous periods. Experts suggest that strict valuation requirements remain a primary bottleneck in finding buyers for these long-standing investments.
