Scicli: Angelo Piccione to premiere documentary film Siclis

Director Angelo Piccione will premiere his documentary short film, "Siclis," at the Church of Santa Teresa in Scicli. The film offers a visual and emotional journey through the heart of the Val di Noto, focusing on the authentic soul of Scicli beyond its famous Baroque architecture.

Through intimate narration and impactful imagery, the project aims to capture the unique light, stone alleys, and secular traditions of the area. The production features original music by Paolo Vivaldi and includes interviews with historian Paolo Nifosì and confectioner Andrea Giannone. The project was supported by the CineClub 262 cultural association and co-produced by the Libero Consorzio Comunale di Ragusa and the Sicilian Region.
