Science Ambassador project brings AI education to Slovak schools

The Science Ambassador project is bringing interactive educational workshops to Slovak schools, with an upcoming session scheduled for September 23 in Zilina. The initiative focuses on science, technology, and innovation through hands-on experimentation rather than theoretical learning.

A major highlight of the program is the creative AI studio, where students learn to use artificial intelligence responsibly. Participants practice prompt engineering, discovering that the quality of AI-generated visuals depends on their ability to formulate clear and precise instructions. To date, students have created approximately 1,500 prompts.

So far this year, the project has visited eight cities and engaged more than 440 students from the 8th and 9th grades. In addition to AI, workshops include activities such as pyrograpy (wood burning) and working with mBot robots.
