Educational and community programs launch across Austria and Germany

Various educational and community institutions in Austria and Germany are hosting diverse programs for students and local residents.

In Austria, BRG Steyr Michaelerplatz has commenced the 2026/2027 school year with 740 students and 80 teachers. Meanwhile, in Germany, several schools and organizations are conducting specialized activities. The Caspar-Vischer-Gymnasium organized a language trip to Hastings, England, for 60 students. The Erlanger SchülerForschungsZentrum für Bayern (ESFZ) has opened registration for a research camp in November 2026.

Other regional initiatives include a science camp at OTH Weiden focusing on medical biophysics, and a flight project at Angerschule involving glider flights in Schöngleina. Social and community programs are also active, such as Smiley e. V. conducting workshops on digital class communication, and the Futbalo Girls Camp in Oggersheim, which promotes gender equality through football. Additionally, Frankenthal is hosting an autumn festival featuring music and international culture, and VfR Mannheim is offering a football camp for children during the autumn holidays.
