Science festivals and research open days held in Italy

Various scientific outreach events are taking place across Italy to promote research and education. In Cagliari, the 19th edition of the Cagliari FestivalScienza is underway at the EXMA cultural center. This year’s theme, “Visioni,” focuses on the relationship between intuition, knowledge, and the scientific method through book presentations, workshops, and interactive experiences.

In Ferrara, the University of Ferrara (Unife) is hosting “Porte Aperte” at its Scientific Technological Pole. Organized by several university departments and the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (Infn), the initiative offers guided tours, experiments, and educational activities. The program includes specialized paths for children, such as a Junior route and a galaxy-themed escape room developed in collaboration with the Infn section of Padua.
