Science festivals in Poland open laboratories to the public

Regional science festivals in Poland are opening laboratory and lecture hall doors to the public to foster scientific curiosity.

In the Pomeranian region, the fourth Pomeranian Science Night features eight scientific institutions, including the Gdańsk Medical University, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the Gdynia Aquarium. This year’s theme focuses on resilience—health, social, and technological. Activities include lectures on mathematics, AI versus nature challenges, and clinical diagnostic demonstrations. The event is part of the European Researchers' Night and the Horizon Europe program.

In the Greater Poland region, the Wielkopolska Science Night offers hands-on experiences at Poznań-based universities and institutes. Programs include physics shows, programming workshops using Python, and acoustics experiments. Participants can engage in diverse fields such as nanotechnology, engineering, and geodesy through interactive workshops and demonstrations.
