Science museums in Italy host Halloween events

Several Italian science institutions are hosting special programming for the Halloween weekend.

In Pordenone, the Immaginario Scientifico museum will hold an extraordinary opening on Saturday, October 31, from 14:00 to 20:00. The “Creature Academy” program offers an immersive adventure where participants engage with interactive apparatuses to explore scientific phenomena disguised as extraordinary powers. The museum will also remain open for regular hours on November 1.

Città della Scienza is organizing a weekend of activities on October 31 and November 1. The program includes interactive laboratories, planetarium shows, and a “Great Halloween Party” on Sunday, November 1, featuring costumes and scientific enigmas. Part of the “Pinocchio 4.0” project, the event uses themes from Carlo Collodi’s classic tale to explore neuroscience, learning, and sensory illusions through a scientific lens.
